brought out the pressure washer, started it up. Sprayed, Shut off. So pressure washer runs fine.

Take out the foam cannon, add soap, fill with water, connect up with pressure washer. Restart and nothing. The line pressures up, but nothing comes out. adjusted the foam/water knob, spray angle still no water.

So I shut off the machine, carefully take off the bleeder cap (knowing there is 3000psi behind it), wait for pressure to bleed out. Swap with regular nozzle, start up machine, and sprays fine.

Anyone have an issue with these straight out of the box?

Yes. Took it all apart didn’t find anything wrong. Put it back together and worked fine.

I have no idea other than to check if its clogged.

I have a generic one from Amazon, haven’t run into any issues with it yet.

No water or anything coming through the foam lance?

The brass head can get clogged with the tiniest bit of grit but still something should be coming out.

Have you tried taking the foam lance off and putting the nozzle to your mouth and blowing hard back through to dislodge any debris.

But generally, even if it’s not working properly you’ll still get a watery soap come through.

If all else fails, you may need to do a strip down.

This is very easy, even easier if you have a vice.

There are videos online of how to do a PA snow foam lance strip down. If your going to strip it down, may as well either replace the steel gauze mesh inside or take it out and soak in descaler or boil it to remove any built up residue.

Thank you

I had just taken it out of the box so a bit pissed at it not working. Going to try and exchange it for another one.

Ye’, if it’s new. Take it back.

But these PA snow foam lances are all machined brass parts and virtually indestructible. The only thing to go is the steel gauze mesh which can get clogged with mineral deposits or shampoo residue.

Also double check you have the right fitting and it's seating correctly in the trigger handle.
